Updating the Voter List Steps to Include New Voters:


First step: data collection
The early stages
- To make a preliminary estimate of the total voter turnout based on the previous voter list.
- On the basis of this estimate, appoint the required number of Assistant Registration Officers, one Supervisor for the data collector and one data collector for the voter 1-4.
- To make people aware of the use of various media during the recruitment process.
- Formation of different types of committees to strengthen coordination with the representatives of local public representatives, local administration, civil society, etc.
- Issue notification for recruitment of area-based data entry operators, team leaders, etc., pick up applications received, take tests and recruit them.
- Form-2 printing and distribution for data collection.
- Registrar accounts, voter slip making and stamp pad purchases for data collectors. Purchase the goods transferred to the District Election Officer.
- To take the system of voting in a special system of jail voters.
Mid stage
- Provide 3 days orientation to Assistant Registration Officers.
- Provide 3 days training to supervisors and data collectors.
- Provide 3-5 days training to data entry operators and team leaders.
- Provide Form 2 and other materials to the data collectors.
- At least 3-5 days before the start of the photo, the data collector will go from house to house and collect information in Form-2. The registrar collects detailed information about the critically ill and opponents.
- Transfer the collected information to the supervisor and verify the information received by the supervisor.
- Informing the voter the date, center and name of the center when taking the picture by collecting information via slip.
- Utility to take pictures of the center.
The last stage
- Operational of registration centers and server stations.
- Collection and installation of laptops, cameras, fingerprint scanners, photocopying machines, generators etc.
Step 2: Recheck the form
- Collection and verification of forms at the registration center.
- Laptop-based forms sorting.
- Entry of forms into the log.
Step 3: Collect and verify information at the registration center
- Arrival at the polling station and hand over the slip to the person responsible.
- Access to form collection and data entry operator.
- Identifying the voter by the center verifier.
- Data entry by the data entry operator, contained in the laptop (if not already entered).
- Transfer receipt of photos, fingerprints, signatures and receipts
- If any entry is pending, the rest of the entry is filled by the data entry operator.
- Transfer the laptop information to the leader every day and transfer it to the upazila server through him.
Step 4: Registration of contestants, jail voters, excluded voters and the sick
- Identifying excluded voters and reporting them to be voters.
- Completion of registration of the excluded voters in the process described in step 3.
- Completion of registration of opponents and critically ill patients at home (last 3 (three) days).
- Transfer and transfer information of rival and critically ill people who have been left in the upazila Savar.
- Collection of information on the special system of voters in prisons.
- Finalize the registration process by taking their pictures, fingerprints and signatures in jail.

Step 5: Processing the data on Upazila server
- Transmitting information of prison voters to the respective constituencies and entry of computers.
- Processing all data on Upazila server.
- Quality verification and quality improvement of the data repository.

Step six: Publishing and finalizing draft voter lists
- Drafting the draft voter list in accordance with Form-1.
- Displays draft voter lists.
- Objection to the draft voter list.
- Issue of correction order by the Hearing and Revising Authority.
- Correction of errors in draft as per order.
- Formulation of the final voter list.
- Authorization of the final voter list by the registration officer.
